OUR TRIP

Palatinalps is the UK’s largest single-university snowsports event. Organised by Durham students, for Durham students, it’s so highly anticipated that sign-up day has been described in Tatler as ‘one of the most eagerly anticipated moments of Michaelmas.’

Every year, over 1,500 Durham students make the pilgrimage to the French Alps for a week of alpine antics on some of the finest pistes in Europe. But Palatinalps doesn’t stop there: for many, the most indelible memories are made off the slopes. Lengthy day-glo après-ski sessions and high-octane, high-altitude parties soundtracked by serious calibre bookings are the perfect opportunity to get loose with friends new and old. And for those who like to keep things a little lower-consequence but just as life-enhancing, other experiences like yoga sessions and helicopter rides abound.

Whatever your priorities, Palatinalps won’t fail to live up to its reputation of creating stories you can’t live down.

See you for first lift.
