What are my travel options?

Much like last year, we are encouraging people to fly this year, meaning that coach travel will not be included in the base price. There will be options to book flights before the trip tickets are released, and by showing proof of a flight booking you’ll gain a guaranteed spot on the trip! We will also be running transfers to and from the airport to the resort. Watch out for Instagram posts about this.

Do i have to pay for the trip in full?

No, you will pay a deposit and then can pay it off before the deadline, more information once the base price is released.

How do I find out what events are on offer?

Keep an eye out on our Instagram page for all the event information!

what happens if i want to cancel my ticket for the trip?

You can either request a name change or loose your deposit. Please refer to T&C's on the WLT site.

what if i have never skiied before? is it still worth me coming?

Absolutely! We are looking to run some trial skiing sessions in Sunderland so that you can meet other beginners and give it a go. There will also be beginner skiing lessons available in resort!

should i book lessons?

If you want to learn how to ski or improve your technique then for sure! The lessons are a really great way to meet new friends of the same skiing abilities too if this is something which you're a bit worried about.

Can I rent kit?

Equipment hire is available for all trip-goers. We offer customisable equipment packages to suit your desired quality and the equipment you already have. Boots, skis, snowboards, poles and helmets can all be provided to you.

Can people who are not at durham come?

Absolutely! Whether you're an alumni who's missing Palatinalps or just keen to get involved, there's a space for you.
